now, let's dive in!
Estimated read time: 1 minute & 30 seconds
imagine this
you and your friends are visiting Mexico City for the weekend.
as you explore the city, you discover that there is a good futbol match happening on Saturday.
all of you want to go see it, but want the ultimate experience: a stadium box.
problem is… you and your friends don't have one.
with oasis you can rent a private box with a single click of a button.
explain it like i'm five
oasis is the Airbnb for stadium boxes…
they're the leading platform in Mexico that connects stadium box owners with people looking to rent.
you can book private boxes for concerts, F1 races, NBA, NFL, soccer games, etc.

background check
what we like
☯️ sharing economy business model: All parties win. The stadium, box owners, consumers, and the oasis app.
📈 year over year bookings: 2021-> 74 bookings. 2022 -> 549 bookings.
⚽ worldcup 2026: can use world cup 2026 to monetize in "Estadio Azteca". Their strongest venue. oasis will not offer services to rent a box in other venues, given that FIFA takes ownership of the stadiums.
🚣 scalability: can shift to other revenue streams… sale tickets, merch, and other industries that do not involve stadium boxes. (ex. connect a plane owner with a person who needs a plane) most of the tech is already in place.
roadblocks
🥊 competition: in Mexico, two big players compete for the same users. In the US, a lot more. Difficulty transmitting trust towards users and box owners.
😷 pandemics: a competitor of oasis stated that thanks to the pandemic they had to let go of everyone and were missing out on millions of mxn because of closed stadiums.
👯 market both consumers and stadium box owners: growing a platform is extremely hard. In this case, you have to market both types of users… the owners of the box and the rentees.

other players
Traditional companies (Ticketmaster, Stubhub, etc)
so why oasis: with more than 15 venues in Mexico and US, we can see oasis expanding quickly across South and North America. From 2021 to 2022 their bookings increased by 641%.
